cocomoさんでのギグ無事終わりました！
やー、まさかの満席でありがたいことでした。
子供さんもいっぱい来て、ゆるーい午後にできてよかったです。
われわれも今回は朗読とか歌なしの曲とか、カバー曲もいっぱいできて、なんか好き勝手やれてよかったです。
私は個人的に６・１の高崎でのライブまではちょっと休みます。
休んでばっかってうわさだけどね。まあ自分のペースでやります。

写真とか、ビデオをとってもらったけど手元には例によって一枚もないのよね。
せっかくiPhoneなんだから、自分とか写真撮る癖つけたいわ。おばか。
いただいたらまたアップしまーす☆

Finished our gig at cocomo.
Thanks so much for coming out today:)
House was full!
I was especially glad to see lots of little kids came out too.
It is alaways nice to have them and see them just do their thing;)
We did what we wanted to try at today's show.
Our first poetry reading...it was the very first shot but I  think we could definitely turn this into something deeper.
We also played a couple of instrumental tunes composed by Shogo and Yuichi.
Anyway, personally I will take a good rest until June 1st gig.
Maybe it is time to treat my voice.

And, as usual I got no pic or vid from today's show.
Some of my friends took them so I will harrass them to pass them on to me:)

Had a rehearsal for the gig on 12th today.

There are still things to be get done but it will be fun.

I was listening to Steve Jobs commencement speech at Stanford  

earlier today to sort of motivate myself.

It's a great speech so I won't go in details here, just watch or listen to it.

Anyway, if I answer what he says in the speech, 

what I feel at the end of the day is,

I love what I do. 

I am just hoping what I do loves me back as much.

Well if not, I will do my best to make that happen.

聞いてちょっとモチベーションをあげてみました。

私は自分のやってる事を愛してますよ、って胸を張って言える。

私の方も自分のしてる事に愛されてるといいな、と思うだけ。

そうじゃないなら、愛されちゃうくらい頑張ってますわよ。

here we come

This is very exciting...It took a while to get to this point.

I will be writing about happy simple life in NY, introducing local music scenes, and healthy life style, foods, and pretty much everything that makes our life a bit happier! And of course, about my band Yuki and Cuties, too. Very pleased to meet you!

NYでの音楽シーンや、シンプルで健康なライフスタイル、食事をどうやって暮らしにとりいれていくか、とかまあハッピーな暮らしにつながるものを何でも紹介して行きたいと思います。そしてもちろん自分のバンド、ゆき＆キューティーズも。よろしくです。
