Came back to Tokyo last night.

I wrote this on the plane as I could not get much sleep.

Everyone else was sleeping basically.

This trip was really eye-opening for me, getting to see the U.S. from the west to the east with someone precious.

After we left Colorado, we were actually driving through Denver when the flood was hitting the city seriously.
I wanna send out prayers to the ones who had lost their lives or houses and wanna be humble about the fact we were safe.

Then there were Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.
We spent 2 nights in Muskegon, Michigan to stay with my one-and-only-traveling companion's parents.
Then there were Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.
You have no idea how childishly excited  I was to see the city from highway 80.

And the show.
We rehearsed right before the show once and hit the stage,
but we really had great time together I believe.
On top of all that, I was sooo happy to see many friends came out even though it was fuckin Monday night
Excuse my language.
But I mean , really.
You all are the reason why I love NY.
I love all of you and hope to come back soon again to see you guys.

Before this trip, I thought I would do a lot of thinking on this trip.
But hell no; there were just do much for me to feel and see.
In other words, I was on the moment, which is not like my usual behavior.
I often find myself worrying about what is coming up or what I screwed up a while ago but hey.
The grand nature was right in front of us.
All these worries didn't come to my mind until it was the night before the show in Brooklyn and we got stuck in the traffic as soon as we got into Brooklyn. Lol.
I got to thank the nature and the most patient traveling companion for that.
And now I'm back to Tokyo.
I know the Tokyo life is Tokyo life.
NY is also a place for some hustles and so is Tokyo.
There is no fairy-tale-perfect-place I suppose.
But wherever I will be, I wanna face the shit I will face  and even embrace it and grow more as a human being and as a musician.
Much much love and the deepest gratitude.
