happy holidays!

Hope you you are having a wonderful holiday season.

I finally am!  

(because I deliberately put aside the tedious tasks to get done...)

I went to a party in Long Island, with the brownie that I just learned the recipe and a bottle of wine.

So much fun and so many laughters. Yay! 

And yummy deserts. Yes.

I was so indulged in deserts that I forgot to take pictures of cute trees and decorations. Oops!

In Japan, where celebrate almost any religion's holiday if they feel like adapting it, Christmas is a huge commercial event for couples.

Over here,  it is a time for family gathering, just like Japanese new year celebration, which is also family-centered holiday.

And it makes me miss my mom a lot, especially when I was invited to such a wonderful house and hosted by fabulous family. 

Sometimes, I stop and wonder who is actually reading this blog anyway?

Like, is this waste of time?

But one of my closest friend in Japan just sent me an e-mail, saying she is happy to see my daily lives.

So, simple me decide to keep writing when I can.

Tomorrow, I am trying to go to somewhere I have been meaning to visit  but have never gone.

I still have 7 days left in 2010.

I wanna do everything I have been putting aside, because who really knows where I will be next year?

ホリデーシーズン皆さんいかがおすごしですか？

私は、もう開き直りちょっとばかり怠けることに決めてやっと楽しんでます。

ロングアイランドで友人の実家のパーティに呼ばれ出向いてきました。

こないだ練習したブラウニーとワインを持って。

げらげら笑い、よく食べて飲んで、楽しかったです。

食べ物の写真、基本興味なく食べる専門ですが、今日はちょっとあまりの量の美しいおやつにくらっときてかしゃり。

多分あまりに甘いものたちにくらっと来ててすっごい可愛いツリーとかあったのに、写真撮るの忘れた。。。がっくしです。

日本ではきっと相変わらず恋人たちの季節！って感じだと思うけど、

こちらは日本のお正月のような家族行事のクリスマス。

今日みたいに、郊外のお家で仲良し家族に招いてもらうと、自分のお母さんを思い出しちゃう。

おかあさ〜ん！

今年後半はこのブログを結構真面目に書いてみたんだけど、

頻繁に、誰が読んでるのかしら？意味なし？とか思いつつ書いてます。

が、さっき日本の大事なともだちが、近況が知れてとっても嬉しいとメールに書いてくれたので、

お調子者の私は、やっぱまた気楽に書いてみようっと思いましたとさ！

明日は、ずっと行ってみようと思ってたけど、足の向かなかった場所に行ってみます。

なんとなく、ここへきて２０１０が終わるまでに今までしたいと思ってたけど、実現させなかったことをこなしてます。なんとなくだけど、おもしろがりつつ。あと二つくらいかな。
