Summer

I don't know where to start. There seems so much to say.

Life is good. Of course it is as the summer is here.
I was off today so went to have my hair cut and walked around in Lower Manhattan.
I got a big vietnamese sandwich and coffee and took them with me to Manhattan Bridge.
Since it was a breezy, relatively cool weather, I decided to eat my lunch on the bridge.
(I don't know if it is lawful to sit on the sidewalk of the bridge so please don't tell anyone ;)
Feeling the trains passing by right behind me, and being stared by other pedestrians, I enjoyed my sandwich very much. Eating outside is the magical spice to make foods taste better.
It was a perfect day to wander around by myself.

As I love spontaneity, I enjoy going anywhere I want to as much as sharing the experience with good friends.
I might have said this somewhere already, but I believe that freedom and solitude are like Siamese Twins.
In summer, definitely freedom wins over solitude.



....But I feel like I have been saying this every summer.
Have I grown at all? Yes yes.


色々ある気がして、何から書けば良いやら。
大好きな夏だし、暮らし向きは良いばかり。
休みだったので、髪の毛を切ったあと、ダウンタウンをぶらり。
ランチは、チャイナタウンでベトナミーズサンドウィッチとコーヒーを買って、
マンハッタンブリッジの上で食べました。
背後で電車がすごい勢いで通り過ぎるの感じつつ、そして通行人に不審の目で見られつつ、
サンドイッチ美味しくいただきましたとさ。
外で食べるとそれだけで食べ物がより美味しい気がしてしまう。
ぶらりにうってつけの日だったわ。

こうやって一人で好きなとこぱっと行くのも、友達と楽しい事一緒にわけあうのもどっちも私にとってとても大事。前もきっとどっかに書いたけど、孤独と自由はシャム双子だから。
夏は、自由がばっちり孤独に勝ってしまう。

なんか同じ事毎夏言ってる気がするけど、まあいいや！大人にはなってるはず！
