Mele Kalikimaka!

I danced for hula halau that I am a part of at this children' hospital on Monday.
It is always a big pleasure to perform in front of loving audience.
I could feel that the children's shiny smiles filled up the air.
And the strength and love of their parents are just so...so I don't know the word.
All I can say is I was very honored to be there.

I was gonna pick some Hawaiian Chirstmas songs to post here but instead, I am sharing Keali'i Reichel's Maunaleo, a song he dedicated to his mother.
After all, Christmas is a birthday of this wonderful guy, yes?
And bless all the mothers and children.



And for me, I just received a parcel from my mama:) Such a spoiled child I am always.

過ぎましたが、月曜日に子供の病院でフラの公演に参加させてもらいました。
愛のあるお客さんの前で演奏するのはいつでも一番嬉しいこと。
子供のにこにこ顔の気配が部屋一杯に感じられた。
あと、うまく言えないんだけど、親御さんの強さとか愛が。簡単に言葉にできないんだけど。
胸に来るものがって。でも笑顔で踊るだけなんだけど。
参加させてもらえて本当に光栄でした。

それにちなんでハワイアンのクリスマスの曲でも載せてみようかと思いましたが、
ケアリイ・レイシェルの母親に書いたマウナレオを。
だって、クリスマスだってお誕生日だもんね？
全ての母も子も幸せでありますように。

私はと言えば、すごいタイミングで今母から小包が届きました。
甘やかされることを当たり前に享受できるこの幸せよ。
笑われてもいいから、元気なうちは甘やかされてやろう。
