why am I writing this and to whom? なぜ、だれの為に書いてるか？

In case someone wonder why there are Japanese English descriptions that are slightly different content (if they understand both languages).

I am writing my not-so-perfect English log for people who resides in the area to share what is going on in town. So if I feel I don't need to explain certain things in English, (e.g the A train goes up to Harlem, Queens is next to Brooklyn, etc.) I will not.

I am writing the Japanese version mainly for those who live in Japan and are curious about what NY life is like and such. So I will probably write a bit more to give a supplementary explanation as needed in Japanese.

Plus, the exact translation is lame! That will never work.

Anyway, I will do my best to satisfy both readers!

先に行き、何で日本語と英語で内容がちょっと違うの、と聞かれたらのために。

英語版はNYに住む人々向けの情報がシェアできるように書いてます。

だから住んでいれば分かる事（どの地区がどこにある、とか電車の何線はここ等）は省いたりしてます。

逆に日本語版は日本に住む方々でNYでの暮らしってどんなかな〜って興味がある人向けに書いてます。なので必要に応じて補足説明をいれてます。おそらくまめに。

それに逐語訳は無理だし！

とにかく、どっち側の読み手にも満足してもらえるようなものをやっていければと思います。
