meet me at the Rockaway

After working in Elmhurst, Queens

I saw Q 53 bus, which takes you the Rockaway Beach.

It was sunny and warm, and I happened to have no errands after work.

I just had to hop on! 

Growing up in the town that is so close from the beach, I just get so happy just by smelling the salty air.

It is in my blood.

There was a beach bar already open so I had a glass of wine and some tacos right by the shore.

I love my boring routines but spontaneity totally won today. 

It would have been nice to share with someone too.

But I was glad to keep it all for myself today.

今日はクイーンズのエルムハーストで仕事をしてたのですが、

終わった後ちょうど、Q53というロッカウェイビーチへつれてってくれるバスが行くのを目にしてしまいました。

晴れてるし、あったかいし、これといった用事もない。。。

これはもう行くしかない！

海にうんと近いところで育ったせいか、磯臭い風をかぐとやたら元気でます。

血にしみ込んでるよなあ。

ビーチハウスがもうすでに何軒か開いてたのでワインとタコスをいただいてしまいました。

ルーチンはルーチンで愛しいけど、この気まぐれができるのも今日たまたま独りだったからだなあ。

シェアする幸せもあれば、今日は独り占めの贅沢。

Merry month of May

Hope you got to enjoy the gorgeous weather this weekend if you are in NY.

And happy mother's day to all the fabulous hard-working loving moms!

Here are the highlights of my weekend.

Hello there.
Ha~ time is flying by around my world lately.
I feel like I was in LA like yesterday.
Where did April and the first half of May go? Hmm?
Anyway I know they were stuffed with all good things.
Here are a few glimpses from Pete's Candystore gig taken by handsome Chieh.

I finally went back to hula tonight.
So so happy.
Now I need to get back to my own projects after I give myself good me time.

Also, I destroyed my ancient cell phone and had to buy an Android phone.
I am supposed to be able to write from it, but you know what? I don't know how to do that yet.
Plus I don't know how to transfer the pictures from my phone to mac.
Someone is aging, I suppose!

最近時間がものすごい早さですぎていく。
おかしいな？あれもう五月の半ばだよ。おそろしい〜。
LAについこないだいったと思ったのにね。
まあ楽しいぎゅっと濃縮された時間だったからよしとしましょう。
先週のギグの写真を友だちのチェイ君がくれたので載せます。

あとね、今日久々にフラにも行けました。
しあわせ〜。
しばらくは自分ひとりの時間をとって気分を一新したらまたちょっとやってみたいことに取り組んで行こうと思います。

それと、最近の目新しいこと。
古い携帯を破壊しきったので、アンドロイドに替えたんだけど、いまいちよくわかんない。
ブログもさ、携帯からだって書けるはずだけど、？
あと写真も実際どうやってマックにうつすのか、？
まあ気長にやります。
年をとってるってことでしょうか。
